Simone Boccaccio
Documentary photographer
Simone Boccaccio (1986) is an Italian documentary photographer currently based in Barcelona. He began his career as a self-taught travel photographer, traveling between Southeast Asia, Europe, and South America.
In 2020 he decided to focus his work on documentary photography, dedicating his energies to documenting social and environmental issues.
He studied photojournalism at Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona and completed some specialization courses at IEFC.
His works have been published in National Geographic, El País, Geo Magazine and El Periódico.
